an ode to romance

As winter comes to an end and the first signs of spring start to bloom the hopeful romantic in me embarks on a journey to reminisce this romantic & elegant styled shoot captured in the heart of Cotswolds, the whimsical gardens and charming old world historic venue Manor by the lake provided the most enchanting backdrop for this wedding inspiration.

A symbolic ceremony was held in the pavilion with a view of the beautiful Italian gardens, as the soft daylight peaked through the big windows revealing the organic flower combo of mocha and pink blooms designed by Nicole owner of The floral studio Purton.

The ceremony included a poetic love letter the personalized vows written for Tamara and Elliot's love story by Susana Ozorio Pausa para Uma Prosa, it was a genuine and passionate declaration of love to witness.

The couple's genuine passionate connection and dash of inspiration from one of my favourite movies the cinematic adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice directed by Joe Wright translated into gentle and romantic portraits.

After the ceremony, the lush, elegant and airy bridal suit provided an editorial feel for the couple's portrait session.

The grand and luxurious Lyderick was chosen to celebrate the formal reception where Beth owner of Alba Tableware designed an elevated, formal regal French-inspired.

Using rich gold tones with ornate design for the charger plater and cutlery—paired with textured pink tablecloths, blush & pink candle shades and cream damask napkins using textures and layering added softness to the design.

The masterpiece of the reception was the Wedding cake designed by Cakes by Sophie Page to convey a whimsical yet romantic feeling.

With clean lines, detailed bas relief and airy wafer florals, it is classic in all white yet contemporary with unkept detail and fallen blossoms;

The mini cakes and biscuits were added to create a graceful display.

An outdoor alfresco reception was also held in the Italian gardens, the tablespace was designed to bring a more casual & intimate feel.

Inspired by french romance and elegance the shoot features soft, feminine gowns by white rose bridal rooms carefully selected by the owners Hayley & Sophie paired veils by Richard Designs.

The gentleman of the hour the groom wore an elegant, classic and sophisticated black tie tuxedo by Kevin paul suit hire.

Gowns that are filled with delicate floral arrangements, and soft tulle sparkling with glitter give the whimsical airy movement we envisioned in harmony with the effortlessly romantic waves and natural makeup with a subtle touch of pink embracing the bride’s femininity.

Let's take a moment for my signature under the veil portrait

The tabletop was styled with a white cloth, white charger plates with ornate gold rim detailing and ornate design gold cutlery, paired with a soft blue linen napkin and gold-rimmed glassware for a luxurious feel.

The draped lilac chiffon that ran across the table rod was a nod to the famous Provence lavender fields, styled with foliage and a crystal chandelier.

This shoot is an ode to romance exuding grace and intention in this spring fragrant shoot celebrating the covenant of marriage masterfully it was an honour to see my vision come to life with this talented team.
